Julie Crossett returns to the newly named University of the West of Scotland (UWS).

Julie Crossett has decided to return to the UWS to undertake a Masters Degree in Waste Management and the Environment. The course is over a two year period with the first year being full time academic study followed by a second year involving an industry placement.

Julie has spent the last year with the company undertaking a variety of waste management vocational training courses including the Management of hazardous waste and the treatment of hazardous healthcare waste. She has in addition undertaken her Assessors award and hopes to complete that early in 2010.

In the above regard Julie has been working with Albion Environmental Limited, Ayr; Right Track Training Limited, Glasgow; Easdale Environmental Developments Limited, Cumbernauld and the North of Scotland SQA/WAMITAB Centre in Banff.

Hopefully Julie will restart full time employment with SC Waste Management Limited in June 2010 at the start of her 1 year's placement.
